What is Future Food Together?
Future Food Together is a WWF-led multi-country initiative dedicated to furthering the global Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) agenda, one of the most cross-cutting of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals that form the blueprint of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

With a focus on the Global South, Future Food Together has established five projects across two continents – Asia and South America. It launched in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines in 2017 and in Paraguay and Colombia in 2020.
Home to some of the most populous and rapidly growing emerging countries in the world, the Global South is where Future Food Together has the greatest potential to make a significant impact on reducing global greenhouse gas emissions and building more resilient food systems that better serve their populations.
Each project addresses a range of food system challenges specific to the national context by promoting and integrating SCP practices throughout the value chain. Actors and elements that are part of the wider food system, such as schools and local community organisations, are also taken into account.
Future Food Together is dedicated to facilitating South-South knowledge exchange between project teams, with a view to elevate and inspire more impactful ideas and executions.

The Future Food Together difference
Future Food Together presents a different vision for food in the Global South. Instead of transplanting global frameworks onto local problems, we work hand-in-hand with experts in each country to develop tailored, locally-informed solutions that are transformative and scalable.
